- 이 원료는 형질전환된 벼 Oryza sativa의 DNA에 사람 유전자의 복제본을 안정적으로 삽입하거나 일시 발현하여 얻은 단일사슬 재조합 휴먼펩타이드이다. 출발유전자는 Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor를 코딩하는 사람 유전자와 동일한 코드를 갖도록 합성된 것이다. 이것은 글라이코실화 및/또는 다이설파이드결합을 포함하는 최대 288개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 있다. 그 단백질을 구성하는 아미노산은 표준아미노산이다.
